If an electric stove doesn’t ignite, first be sure the appliance power cord is plugged in and that all circuit breakers are on. You need to check the pilot light on gas stoves. If the oven is plugged in or if the pilot light is on, then some other part will need to be replaced. The cause of the issue could be an infinite switch, surface element, oven igniter or broil and bake element.

OVEN DOESN’T HEAT

A stove or burner or oven that doesn’t produce heat will not do much good. An oven won’t heat when there is a broken oven sensor or a malfunctioning bake element. IGNITER WON’T LIGHT
